Army Throwdown WIP Update: Wild Card #1

My Plan A was to enter the Harlequins as my first Wild Card, but I got carried away in painting the Wave Serpent below. During the weekend, I was stuck in between; couldn't decide whether to finish the Harlequins or the Wave Serpent.

Browsing through the web, I stumbled upon an interesting technique. Which leads me to create my own stencil as below. We'll see whether I can pull this new technique off by this Friday.

  1. Is the stencil used together with air brush techniques?

    1. To be exact, it's a stencil for airbrush. And it's DIY!

  3. I'm guessing that mask template is for free hand flames via airbrush... Looking forward to what you have in mind regardless- can always count on you for unique and unconventional paint jobs!

    2. I'm curious to see how you pull this off. Normally you can only do flames over a black surface, unless you're going for a weird color or the like. Looking forward either way to seeing the results
