Slow March

Compared to what my colleagues have done, I'm at a snail's pace. Pictured below is what I managed so far, pending the detail works. Painting metal colours straight on will be a bit off since it's too shiny, so perhaps I will use light off-grey for the metal parts.

Anyway, is the grey too dark or is it just nice? Feedbacks please, thanks.

  1. Hard to tell so early in the paintjob. Personally I think they're a bit too dark, but again the proof will be when you've got at least one completely finished.

  3. Nice progress! The tanks do look a bit too dark. A dry brush with a flat grey color would lighten it up a bit, and help pick out details. Also, I use pencil lead over a base of black for the metal parts on my tanks. Saw Jeff doing it awhile back and it works pretty well.

Looking forward to be fighting side by side with your panzers!

    1. I've tried to lighten it up already, will post the picture in a day or two.
Tried pencil too, but since my colour is a bit dark, the contrast ain't much.
